Wow this book was hella erotic. That said, the plot was interesting about two people meeting in an odd way, catching their spouses cheating with each other. Tess Navarro and Vincent Whitehorse were married to two very selfish and self absorbed people. Luna Whitehorse and Steven Navarro were so absorb into each other that they just forgot all about their vows. Tess wanted to confront but Vincent stopped her because he had a plan to get rid of them once and for all. In their drunken conversation, they found out that they had an electric not chemistry together. Tess was so embarrassed at what she did that she even hid from him, only to have him track her down. He was not letting her go. Besides, he had to keep her safe from not only his crazy wife but the mob associates of her husband.

I'm not too great with reading cheating stories but I think the plot of this story with the mob involved event kind of makes up for that. Geez, was everybody's wife a cheat?

I thought about maybe giving it a 5 because the vocabulary was sometimes hard to follow. Short, clipped words. But since i really knew guys who spoke like this, it was a definite turn on for me ! It had just enough of a different spin on the writing, that it kept me so i finished the book in record time. (didn't actually feel it was 4 books but it was a good full story and i'm satisfied with that) What very sexy alpha's and hot sex to be sure. Good subject matter. Didn't drag out issues or beat you to death with the problems some ex's have but did give enough to make a very interesting story line. I've bought another Texas alpha book to read about Cabe and Rusty and let me tell you, it's already smokin hot and i've just started it ..
A smoking hot, sexy drama. Vincent and Tess meet in the rain outside the hotel their spouses are halving an affair at. They bond over whiskey and their shared hurt, then fall onto bed. for a long night of hot drunken sex. A misunderstanding has Tess running, and Vincent following. Vincent soon to be X is crazy, and Tessf's is obsessed and delusional. Vincent has a plan to take care of both their X problems. He and Tess have something special and they deserve some happiness. I loved how Tess handled both their X's. Liked Tess's friend Rusty and Vincent's friends Cade, Sam and Finn. Hoping all three will find their HEA! A fun and vary steamy story.
Tess followed her husband Steven knowing he was cheating on her. She just had to see it with her own eyes. Right when she's about to yell out at her husband and the lady he's with on the balcony, a big hand covers her mouth. It's raining and he drags her under their balcony where she can still hear the sounds of her cheating. Tess wasn't expecting that man to be the husband of the woman with Steven.

Vincent followed his wife Luna to get the proof he needs that she's cheating on him. What are the chances of the man's wife doing the same thing? He grabs her and after their spouses are finished, loads her up in his truck and takes her to a bar for drinks to talk. Only one drink turns into a bottle, which turns into a night of the hottest sex either can remember ever having.

Tess and Vincent have serious chemistry, but Vincent needs time to take care of financial things before confronting his wife. Tess agree to keep it quiet. She and Vincent try to stay away, but they're drawn to each other. Steven has ties to the mob which could hurt Vincent, and Luna is straight up crazy.

I thought the idea if this story was cute. Some of the events were a little hard to believe and to follow. Tess is supposed to be shy and has only had sex with two people, yet there are three hot men lusting after her, and she's drawn to each one. She seriously flirted with both Finn and Cabe, all the while she's sleeping with Vincent and her divorce isn't final. She's what I would call tease, and acts so naively about it. Vincent immediately knows he wants Tess. He's an alpha, protective male who really does seem to care about Tess. He's also rich and in no way flaunts it.

Overall, the story was a cute read. It's told from both POVs but they change back and forth in the middle of paragraphs with no warning. Vincent speaks through grunts often, but I figured those out fairly quickly. There are a few unanswered questions, but nothing that really effected the end of the story.

Vincent Whitehorse knows his wife, Luna, is cheating on him. She's done it before. But he can't let the rain soaked woman watching the adulterous couple on the balcony confront them. So he takes her to his truck, then to a nearby bar, where they find they have alot in common. Their spouses are cheating on them with each other, hers is mixed up with the mob and his is dangerous crazy. Oh, and after a half bottle of whiskey, they can't keep their hands off each other. But is it the whiskey, revenge, or ?????
This standalone gets 4.25 stars and has a HEA. I've purchased book two and am looking forward to Cabe and Rusty's story.
Sizzle me ! I read the first installment of this serial a long time ago and, when the whole shebang was offered for free, I took it. The circumstances of the story are pretty absurd, with our heroine suddenly becoming a focus for three alpha hunks, Vincent, Finn, and Cabe. She's attracted to all three, too, and the story hints--briefly--that she will leave our hero for one of the others. That's dashed quickly, because she believes whatever comes out of his mouth. Anyway, the self-employed florist spends little time at her shop and melts like butter on a hot skillet at a single word from our hero, who learns he likes his sex rough and very dominant. This teeters on the edge of BDSM, which ain't my cup of tea. However, the sex scenes darned near melted my and made me want a guy like that, just not quite so bossy.

This is a fun, sexy read. Don't expect anything profound or thought-provoking and you'll be plenty satisfied with the book.
