I’d reviewed Diane Rose Duffy’s first book “Take a Piece of My Heart” which I’d won as a free download. I gave this book 5 STARS for the story of a young woman who had been infatuated with her first love enough to marry him, against her parent’s wishes. The love relationship she had envisioned turned into an abusive one no woman would ever want to be evolved with. To take her readers into this woman’s life Ms. Duffy wrote her book as a diary.

In Love Heals the Heart she has taken us into life of her characters and although she doesn’t go into any details, one of them must have already been shell-shocked from a previous relationship. Naturally this causes a mistrust which gets eroded by Gracie as Dylan’s heart warms up and softens as love blooms. I love this theme regarding the heart as it pertains to love, just as I did in her first book.

The juxtaposition of Trish’s character to that of Gracie added to my enjoyment of the book as did her relationship with Gracie’s brother Justin. The humor, drama and mystery of the storyline adds in rounding out the entire book itself; which is why I’m giving this book 5 STARS, and looking forwards of reading more of Ms. Duffy’s writing endeavors.

I read Diane Rose Duffy's first book “Take a Piece of my Heart,” and I was really impressed with her writing, so when her new book “Love Heals the Heart” arrived in my mailbox, I couldn't wait to also read it after receiving it.

I wanted to see if it was as interesting of a book as her first book. I can tell you I think it was even better.

The characters are are so interesting, there were times that I shed a tear,and then I would laugh at times and smiled as I read it.

I rated her first book a 5-1/2 star rating and this one is 6-1/2 stars. What I am saying is it is great and it was hard for me to put the book down.

I can tell you if and when she writes another book you can be sure that I will sure I'll get it. That is how much I have enjoyed her books.

I read on average two to three or more books a week, so I am really looking forward to reading another book authored by Diane Rose Duffy.

Dylan, the detective, and Gracie, the first grade teacher meet unexpectedly when she is on a wilderness hike with her best friend. Her hike has not gone well and their first meeting was embarrassing to her. Their relationship doesn't go smoothly because Dylan has a past that deters him from participating in a serious relationship. This romantic comedy has elements of suspense as well as many humorous incidents.  Gracie is fun, endearing and her antics keep you entertained.
Diane Rose Duffy has you immediately hooked in chapter 1; when best friends, Gracie Watson and Trish meet (hot) Detectives, Dylan Sanders and Justin Tanner, smack dab in the middle of the detective’s stakeout and even some poison oak.
Gracie and Dylan have been burned by previous relationships and are fighting the obvious attraction to one another. As the story progresses, Gracie and Dylan start to let their guards down and trust their hearts to one another.
The story has everything; adventure, love, humor, romance, suspense, a smart mouthed best friend, (every girl needs a Trish in their lives) and a second, equally hot detective, who is intrigued by the smart mouthed best friend. I can’t wait for their story!
Ms. Duffy is a tremendous story teller and this is only her second book! She has a style of writing that catches her reader from the very beginning! Her female characters are strong, determined and independent. I would definitely recommend Ms. Duffy’s books everyone!
This was my first book to read from Diane Rose Duffy but will not be my last. I'm very glad I read it. I was not disappointed at all. The hero is a man with mountains and mountains of guilt. He is afraid to love and be loved. He feels he doesn't deserve it. The heroine is almost the opposite she has been searching and failing at finding love. But she has not given up on love and is still searching. The hero had to finally figure out that love will actually heal him. He had to finally decide he deserves love. The characters have a huge amount of chemistry and sparks fly everytime they are together but after often interrupted by friends, family, careers, and their pasts. You will find several twists and turns which you do not see coming and always a little action to go with the twists and turns. Definitely recommend!! You will not regret reading this.

I purchased an autographed copy of this book directly from the author last week. I loved everything about this novel. It was quick witted and very humorous. The book made me laugh out loud several times. The characters were well developed, likeable & I was able to relate to them on a personal level. The plot line held my interest throughout the entire story. I was completely engaged and invested in the plot. Aunt Irma was my absolute favorite character, I enjoyed all of her antics - I am wishing she had her own spin off book! I am also, very excited to read more about the developing romance between Trish and Justin in the next novel. A very enjoyable read... a perfect summer beach read. Highly recommended.
Love Heals the Heart by Diane Rose Duffy is the second book in her Wavering Heart series. It is also the second book that I have read by her. I enjoyed it a lot but not near as much as I enjoyed the first book. It was full of drama and is one thrilling ride. It is Dylan and Gracie's story, though theirs isn't the only one in there. I enjoyed both the main characters and some of the secondary ones as well. There were a couple twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I liked Trish and Justin too. Their relationship was off and on because Trish was seeing Gracie's brother off and on. Trish had a hard time figuring things out. Will the two couples figure things out before it is too late? There were a few ups and downs in their stories and a snag or two as well. I would recommend Love Heals the Heart to anyone who enjoy romantic suspense thrillers.
