This is exactly what made this one hard for me....I LOVED the idea of Asher finally coming home, but I hated what it did to Tyler. I honestly hated what it did to Blakely as well, this girl was forced to do some serious soul-searching and make some hard decisions. Thankfully she listened to her heart & had the support of the best friends imaginable and a Mom with sound advice. I liked the fact that Blakely did not just run off, but took a year to make sure that she was in the right place & the old swing set ~ PERFECT!!!

This 2nd chance romance will rip your heart out when Blakely first love leaves after his dad dies she never thinks she would ever see him again but 6 years later he comes crashing back will she forgive asher for leaving her? This book all the feels! I loved reading Blakely & Asher’s story and this is a must read and a one click!

I absolutely love Melissa Toppens and her writing. While this was not a favorite read of mine it was still heartwarming and loveable. I just don't think any book can top "The Road to You". Maybe I am bias but that novel had me shedding tears left and right and reading until my eyes couldn't stay open.

This book was a second chance love story that proves that even with time, the heart wants and needs what the heart wants. Asher took a chance and left behind the only girl to explore a journey without her. He spend several years away which one boy proved one thing. He was still in love with her. He couldn't live without her. Going back to find her could prove his mistake to be not fixable or it could prove that his bond with Blakeley is too far embedded in their chemistry. However, what he finds is neither. It might have pieces of both outcomes, but one that he never imagined will have him fighting to get the girl he loves, lost and will need to "find" and admit his mistakes.

This book a roller coaster of emotions. Poor Blakeley is devistated and heartbroken. But will her pieces be able to be put back together? And by whom?

** spoiler alert ** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Phew this book was tough. I was up and down throughout the entire read. Second chance story lines do it for me they are one of my favorites and Asher and Blakely's story didn't disappoint. This book will pull on your heartstrings and make you shed a tear or two. One thing I did wish was in the book was more of them together to see how they develop and mature but I understand books can only be so long. This was a great read that captured me from the beginning. Definitely recommend!!

I love Melissa Toppen and I love this book. I cried so hard that I couldn’t stand it. I couldn’t put it down. I know that Melissa Toppen fans like myself are going to love this book. New readers will rave about this book too. It’s a must read.
Love Me Like You Won't Let Go by Melissa Toppen is a standalone and tells Blakely and Asher's story. This story had me in a twist.
Asher broke Blakely's heart years ago when he just left and in 6 years he never looked back. Now he had a moment and decided he wants Blakely back, returns and is persistent in fighting for her. Blakely was heartbroken for a long time. Now she started over, has a new life - and bam Asher shows up and insists on winning her back.
I want to say I loved the characters, but I simply can't. Asher's actions made me so angry, I had to stop reading and take a breather. And don't start with her rents. Why don't they stand behind her daughter instaed Asher???? My sympathy and bleeding heart goes to the third character, the innocent victim in all this. His only crime was to love. Nope, I refuse to give my blessing.
